A Web3 version of GoFundMe is a donation matching platform that uses crypto behind the curtain. The platform is designed to be user-friendly, making it easy for matcher donors to delegate their matching amounts and for donors to see the matched amounts in the same transaction. With the help of a progress bar, the platform displays the status of all matches, providing a clear visualization of the donation campaign's progress.
The platform focuses on ease of use, allowing for credit card (CC) donations using USDC rails while minimizing the exposure of other crypto-related elements. The end addresses can utilize services like Change for a seamless donation experience. Web3 GoFundMe simplifies the matching process, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
